📌 Event Timing

  • The performances will start at 6:30 PM in the evening.
  • All participants must report at the event venue before 4:30 PM.

Dear Participants,

Congratulations once again on being selected for Round 2 of SWAR RANG 2025! Please take note of the following important instructions:

  1. Refreshments will be provided to all participants during the event. However, accommodation will not be provided, and participants are responsible for their own stay arrangements.

  2. Confirmation Required by 30th January 2025:

    • You must confirm your availability for Round 2 by 30th January 2025.
    • If we do not receive confirmation from you by this date, you will be considered ineligible, and your participation in the competition will be terminated.
  3. Submission of Karaoke Tracks:

    • Each participant must provide three karaoke tracks for the upcoming rounds.
    • Tracks must be submitted in your own pendrive at Event Venue

Please ensure that you meet all the above requirements to continue your journey in the competition.

Judging Criteria

  • Vocal Ability: Judges will Assess tone, pitch, clarity, range, control, and overall vocal performance.
 
  • Performance Quality: Evaluate stage presence, energy, and how engaging the performance is.
 
  • Originality and Creativity: The level of creativity in arrangement and interpretation of the Song.
 
  • Musicality: Accuracy and Rhythm, how well the participant keeps time and stays in tune with the music.
 
  • Audience Engagement: In some Cases, the audience may also play a role in the scoring, so include how crowd Interaction might influence the results.

Equipment & Setup

  • Sound Check: Participants will not be given a specified time for sound checks before the competition starts.
  • Microphone / Equipment Usage: There will be a common mic usage for all participants, participants can use their own instruments or backing tracks.

Code of Conduct

  • Respect : Participants must maintain respect towards fellow competitors, judges and event staff.
  • Punctuality : Participants must arrive on the time given for reporting for their scheduled performance and rehearsal times.
  • Behavior : Any form of disruptive behavior, harassment, or misconduct will result in disqualification.

Disqualification Criteria

  • Non-Compliance : If a participant does not follow competition guidelines or rules.
  • Inappropriate Content : If a participant performs a song not sung by Lata Ji.

Prizes & Recognition

Prize Details
  • 1st Prize – Rs 15000/-, Certificate and a Trophy.
  • 2nd Prize – 11000/-, Certificate and a Trophy.
  • 3rd Prize – 7000/-, Certificate and a Trophy.
  • Special mention : Winner & Runner up will get the chance to perform on the closing ceremony of Lata Mahotsav and also get chances to perform at various Stage shows with reputed artists at various events of SDLF. 
  • Non-Transferable : Prizes cannot be transferred to another individual unless explicitly stated.

  • Certificate of Participation : Provide certificates or recognition for all participants.

Intellectual Property & Recording Rights

Recording Rights : By participating, contestants agree that their performances may be recorded for promotional purposes.

Judges' Decision

Judges’ decisions are final and not subject to appeal.
